The Los Angeles Times is reporting that Brown's agent, Mark Bartelstein, said the deal is worth about $4.6 million. Los Angeles acquired Brown in a trade with Charlotte early in 2009. Last season, he appeared in 82 games, mostly off the bench. He averaged 8.1 points and 2.2 rebounds over close to 21 minutes per contest. Over four seasons in the NBA, he has appeared in 174 games with Cleveland, Chicago, the Lakers and Charlotte. He has averaged 6.1 points and 1.5 rebounds in 15.0 minutes per game. He opted out of the final year of his contract early in the summer to test the free agency market.
